Painting Atmosphere Workshop

Join us for a painting workshop for artists of all levels with MOH Gallery Artist Beth Cole. Learn to express mood and atmosphere in your paintings by following a step-by-step process you can use over and over again every time you paint. You will learn how to identify what your painting will be about, simplify the shapes of your composition, sketch out your values, choose your color palette, prepare your canvas and block in the painting, and add finishing touches. You will need to bring your own supplies – CLICK HERE for a complete list. Beth will demonstrate the process we will use during the first hour, then will help everyone work with their project during the rest of the workshop. Missoula Children’s Theatre – “Snow White”

The Missoula Children’s Theatre presents SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARFS, an original adaptation of the classic fairy tale. A young princess named Show White finds herself in peril when her step-mother, the Queen, is told by her Magic Mirror that the princess is fairer than she! Aided by her two Henchmen and a band of evil Bats, the Queen plots to get rid of Snow White. Snow White escapes from the Queen and from the Black Forest Creatures with help from Witless the Woodsman, and finds a home with the Seven Dwarfs. When the Queen learns of Snow White’s whereabouts, she attempts to poison Snow White. AUDITIONS – Monday, June 11th at 10:00 am   Approximately 50 roles are available. Students must be entering 1st through 12th grade. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students rehearse approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes each day, Monday through Friday, but schedules may vary.

PERFORMANCES – Sat., June 16th at 2:00 and 4:30 pm

Kids’ Night at MOH

MOH is proud to present a brand-new show, specifically designed for families with young children. This exciting cast of performers has been carefully and thoughtfully selected to bring you some of the state’s most popular acts in ONE EVENING! Featured acts include beat-boxer D-Wayne, magician Jeff Quinn and popular Nebraska performers The String Beans. Jeff Quinn is an award-winning magician with over 25 years of professional experience. When you see Jeff in front of an audience, you’ll see why he was named “Children’s Magician of the Year,” and why his peers elected him the 100th President of the Society of American Magicians! D-Wayne is uniquely strong and adaptable performer behind a microphone, performing as MC, beatboxer and educator. He travels far and wide, teaching children how to beatbox and showcasing at venues and events. Now in their 12th year of making fun music for kids, The String Beans have released 10 albums, appeared on dozens of radio and TV programs, and delighted thousands of fans in Nebraska and across the United States.

Presented by the Minden Community Players:  THE ADDAMS FAMILY musical features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.
