The Minden Opera House is a one of a kind venue for weddings, receptions, reunions, conferences, meetings, dances, parties, and more!


The theatre is a very versatile space. Use it for a wedding reception, a company holiday party or pull the movie screen down for a simulcast presentation. A variety of set ups are available for a wide range of uses with a capacity of up to 275 guests without tables. Can seat 192 people at tables.

Nied/Winther Room

Located on the main floor, this room is perfect for medium-sized meetings or events. Screen and projector available and can be set with conference-style tables or round tables. Additional set up fees may apply. Maximum capacity of 80 guests.

Upper Lobby

The upper lobby is an intimate, beautiful space for entertaining smaller groups of guests. Pictured here for a small wedding reception. Can be set with round tables and chairs and includes to our beautiful bar area (bar services are an additional fee). Maximum capacity of 40 guests.

Board Room

For small meetings, impress your clients with this elegant room. Comfortably sits 10 at the table with extra chairs available for the perimeter of the room. Maximum capacity of 20 guests.

Micro Wedding Package

Big memories on a small budget.

Our new Micro Wedding Package is perfect for a safe and intimate gathering to celebrate your special day.

The package includes:

  • Wedding and reception in the theatre for a maximum of 50 people
  • Table set up and linens (tablecloths and napkins)
  • MOH Personnel: Event Coordinator, Bartender, & Security Guard
  • Technical assistance with live streaming option
  • Access to the facility for decorating and/or rehearsal on the day prior during business hours
  • Access to the facility for 6 hours on the day of the event

Total package cost: $600 (regular price $1,070)
